Unique Opportunities Beautiful and tranquil Torch River, a restaurant and a convenience store are all within walking distance. Game fish are lake trout, rock bass, yellow perch, small mouth bass, muskie, ciscoes, brown trout, rainbow trout and whitefish. Casinos: There are 4 casinos nearby, one on each side of Grand Traverse Bay and 2 in Petoskey. Turtle Creek is on the east bay in Williamsburg and Leelanau Sands is on the west bay in Suttons Bay. The Village of Alden is on the southeast side of Torch Lake. It is well-known for its quaint shops, fabulous antiques, creative crafts and family dining. Alden is a very short drive from Northwind Resort. Golfing: If you have not teed off on the great championship courses in the area, you should be teed off, since great golfing abounds! Have fun swimming, boating, jet skiing, riding on your pontoon, hiking or biking! |
